Hey guys, not sure if this is the right place for this but I’m not sure where else to look for advice. I’ve been studying Chinese for a little while now, and I’d really like to choose a Chinese name (when you transliterate my English name it looks and sounds very strange, and I’ll be spending a lot of time in China over the next three years). I’ve done some research and I have found a name that I like, which is 任杰知。I spent a long time on it, and I have tried to choose characters that have meaning to me, and hopefully not choose anything that has a weird meaning, but I’m nervous that there might be a translation I have missed, or that it might sound strange. What do you all think? Have I chosen a good one, or do I need to rethink it? Any advice/thoughts appreciated. 谢谢 :)
