I'm going to Shandong, Beijing, & Shanghai for 20 days in September, can anyone recommend a way for me to enhance my language by arriving earlier/ leaving later?? Summer camp counseler? Language instruction center? Just go around and eat food and talk to people? A specific city?

How can I maximize the value out of the $2,000 dollars I'm paying in Visa, travel agents, foreign insurance, and travel expenses??
