I’m a student and my friend recently asked me if she can learn Chinese from me since I’m a native speaker. I agreed since she even offered to pay me and I just thought teaching others something I thought I knew very well can help enhance my understanding of things and also just explains things in general. But also since I grew up speaking Chinese I also just have no idea how to start with this thing or what to teacher her and I really want to put effort into this as I basically am her tutor now. I just really want to know: what did y’all who picked up Chinese as a second language start with beside just the basic tones and pinyin?
