Hi everyone!
TLDR: I'm looking for a year-long Chinese language program for less than $3000.
Starting in September, I want to go for a year in a Chinese-speaking country and enroll in a Chinese language program. However, there are so many options that I don't even know where to start. I've already been in China for a semester in a uni (Qingdao) and it was awesome: went from HSK2 to HSK4 in 4 months. I had four hours of class everyday and learnt a lot. But I don't want to go back, I want to experience another city (or even country!).
I heard bad things about Shenzhen University, and I'm quite sad because Shenzhen looked like an interesting city. Do you have any feedback on their program? Or maybe you went there? I'm not really interested in Shanghai or Beijing, moreover their prices are a bit expensive I think.
I also would love to try Taiwan, but as I was checking the prices everything seemed way too expensive. $1500 for a trimester? No thanks. Do you know any Taiwanese university that offers Chinese language programs for less than $3000?
And I know my budget is pretty limited, but could Singapore be an option? I know Singapore Universities are quite renown internationally so maybe it would be interesting, however my budget might be too small.
Thanks in advance and have a nice day!
