Hey guys, I'm the creator of the Pinyin colorizer (still in beta, still sorta sucks, when I have time I intend to release a better version) and as some of you may know - I have, over the past few months been working on a Chinese language learning app. It's not finished yet, and will take several more months before it is (grammar rules in particular are going to take quite some investment) but I had a long couple of weeks and wanted to blow off some steam, so I decided to build a "Word of the Day" bot (it actually updates 4 times a day) for social media over the past day or so.
It's pretty simple - puts the HSK version at the top, the pinyin below that, the character below that and a definition after all of it on a picture background. It's not super fancy yet (I plan on adding sentiment and semantic analysis to help it pick better pictures as well as adding other interesting Chinese or China data, like top news from Xinhua, weighting HSK levels, etc) but if you wanted a "word a day", it might be something you're interested in checking out.
You can already tell there are some differences between early HSK cards and later ones, based on size and spacing.

Feel free to let me know what you think - it's still very much a beta project right now - I literally just made it!
