I am working on a project translating a card that lays out the Christian plan of salvation into Chinese. It is broken down into categories with each category being represented by a single word and each word has several verses to go with it. I am struggling with the word sin. I know that 罪 is sin but I was taught that you basically never use a single character by itself. When I look at different Bible verses that contain "sin" they use different forms (罪恶, 有罪，罪孽，罪过). So my question is, which is the best to use/most commonly used? Thanks in advance!
