What's the best way to learn how to read Chinese in a month? I am familiar with listening and speaking the language.

I have a job that starts in June where it's not required to read fluently but very beneficial if I can. I am American-Chinese and have intermediate speaking and listening skills. I can read very basic characters but struggle to read anything significant.

I have downloaded the AnkiApp and have HSK Level 1 wordlist of 153 characters. Is there any other things I should do? Are there better ways to learn? Should the wordlist be my main focus? How can I improve my listening and speaking to be more advanced? Thank you for any help.

tl;dr: Wondering what's the best method to get as good at reading as possible within a month for a job.
