Should I study at Omeida in Yangshuo or That's Mandarin in Beijing? Maybe this is an impossible question and a case of "Whichever you personally prefer", but I figured I'd ask anyways!
I'll be there for the month of August, never been to either place (have been to Chengdu and Harbin for about 2 weeks), and my Chinese is beginner (not absolute). Beijing naturally comes in a few hundred euros more expensive, but I'm just worried there won't be enough to do for a month in Yangshuo, or it'll be too quiet with not enough young people (I'm early 20s)? I'd like some excitement and a little nightlife too!
I'm aiming to go for half-adventure and half-learning, and if I went to Yangshuo then I'd want to stop in Beijing for a few days anyway for some touristy stuff and exploration. I did see some of the natural side of China on my previous trip, heading out into the mountains and Jiuzhaigou, and as for my priorities I guess I'm about split between nature and metropolis.
