Pass test in 2 months?

Hey guys, I'm in a unique situation here, and I was hoping to get some advice.

At the beginning of August, I have to take a language placement test for my university. In order to pass, you just need to show an "intermediate level" (whatever that means) on reading, writing, listening tests and a short interview. I'm wondering if I would be able to learn enough Mandarin in two months to pass the exam.

I took Mandarin classes all through middle school, so I have a solid grasp on basic grammar and pinyin. I already know all the characters in HSK4 from the practice I've been doing when I have free time between my extracurriculars and homework. Most importantly, I have absolutely ZERO commitments during the summer, so I can literally spend the entire day studying Mandarin. I am able to rent a tutor. I'd be really grateful if anyone has any suggestions for what my study strategy should be. Thanks!
