Hi, this is my first ever reddit post. Basically I'm a white girl dating a Chinese man. His grandmother lives in the US with us. She doesn't really speak/read english, and I don't really speak/read Chinese. But we have a mutual liking/understanding of each other. She is super sweet and kind to me, so I'd like to be able to write a Mother's Day card that Amah (we call her Amah) will understand. I'm not looking for anything fancy. Just something simple like:
"Happy Mother's Day, Amah. Thank you for all that you do for us. You raised some wonderful children."
If you could please help me, that would be wonderful! Or let me know if this is not the right thread for this...I'm pretty new to this whole thing. Thank you!
