Help an idiot craft a confession

Hey all,

I've recently been seeing this girl from China. We've gone on several dates together and message pretty frequently. It's gotten to a point where I want to confess my feelings and push our relationship to the next level OR fail trying.

My Chinese is reasonably good for an ABC, but I want to rehearse and make sure this message is perfect and doesn't sound awkward/ inappropriate in Chinese. Please help me review the message below:

你知道吗？ 我喜欢你。

所以, 我希望在下去我们可以继续慢慢的走到一条路上。
