Is my name an actual name in Chinese?

Is Adam a name typically found in Chinese?
GoogleTranslate show it as 亚当 in Simplified and 亞當 in Traditional. Yàdāng pinyin in both.
Do they actually recognize this as a name, like that of Adam in the Bible?
 
*p.s. I actually like the look of Traditional, since I used to be an Army Medic, lol.
