General sense of 'getting something': 得到某样东西 （我得到了父母的肯定 / 你写作能力得到了提升）

Get in the sense of 'to achieve': 达到某种目的或目标 （我达到了一个更高的水平）

Get in the sense of receiving that which was sent: 收到信息，来信，一份礼物，祝福，邮件。

To receive less tangible things connected to emotions: 受到夸奖，伤害，表扬，批评，待遇。
