what's the best way to prepare for an oral exam?

i have an oral exam in about 8 days from now, my chinese is ok (around hsk4) but i notice that whenever i speak with anyone chinese i just get stuck cause there's this word i don't know so i just stopped doing that..alot of people vouch for constant voice calls though, should i spend these 8 days voice calling chinese people and memorizing whatever i learn from these calls or try to memorize as many words as possible and maybe having a 1-2h phone call everyday?
