What is the difference between 了(liao) and 着 (zhao)?

Hi Guys,

I'm trying to figure out this grammar point. I know both constructions mean the possibility/ impossibility of doing something. So does 吃得了 and 吃得着 basically mean the same? The Chinese Grammar Wiki wasn't very helpful for me...
