Should I change my Chinese name?

So, I've been learning Mandarin for about three years now and did two summers in Beijing in intensive programs (Including Princeton in Beijing), and interned for one summer in Taiwan. I'm now going back to China for a little over two years to do a volunteer teaching program based out of Sichuan and I'm wondering whether or not my Chinese name sounds authentic enough: 冯翱森

Until now nobody has commented that it sounds foreign, although other foreigners can often immediately tell what my English name is. My friend from China originally gave me this name because I told her I like hiking. I'm pretty content with the name but I honestly have no idea if it might be perceived differently by people who aren't used to foreigners.
