In which appropriate setting(s) would a native Mandarin speaker use 一点儿,有点儿,一会儿,and 一下?

I understand that they all generally mean “a little”, but is there one that is more preferable than the others in a given situation? I’m just trying to comprehend the differences between the four terms... Any advice/memorization tricks to keep me from confusing one for another would be greatly appreciated!
