Example to use when someone finds Chinese tones confusing, thinking we don't have them in English

Amazon Alexa just said, "To enable shīppíng updates, go to settings..." which sounds like I'm enabling the shipping of updates. She meant, "To enable shīppìng updates, ..." which are updates about shipping.
