"To be" in Chinese

Hello,

I am having a very hard time trying to translate the verb "to be" into Chinese, especially in the future tense.

How can I say:

"I will be in China next year"

"When I am (future) in China, I will practise my Chinese"

or something when you need the infinitive, like "It is not easy to be a doctor"

​

I'd appreciate your help.
