Can someone explain the history of the word "I"? 我 depicts a rake-like tool or weapon with long handle, but the modern meaning is by sound loan although it was already borrowed for sound to mean "I" since the oracle bone script. So the original form of "I" is 吾 wú, of which 五 is sound and 口 is "I"?
