I am trying to study Mandarin again with Anki. Is what I am doing good or not?

Hello everybody! This is my background:

I have studied Mandarin six years ago for about one year in China, reaching the HSK 5 level. Then for various reasons, I didn't practice Mandarin anymore, I forgot about it, I deleted my huge Anki deck under a burst of anger, and now when I open the books I've studied that time I am telling myself: 'did I really studied that?'. I am ashamed but really, now that I want to pick up the language again I am finding out that I do not remember anything almost at all. I am struggling even to write (but I can recognize) words like 房间 or 马马虎虎.

So what I am doing is to put all the words and sentences from the textbook I used into Anki. So I have vocab with audio and sentence with audio sentences that I study by listening and writing the sentence down. It is a bit bothersome to enter dialogue transcript into Anki, but I still managed to enter into Anki two books: Hanyu Kouyu Sucheng - Intro and Elementary. I would like to share this on anki, but the policy says that I can't basically upload something that is not my work, so where can I put it to benefit, if it may be a benefit, students of Mandarin?

My second question, might seems a bit odd, but I am looking for some people that, if they think this is useful, can help to transcribe the textbook so that I can extract audio and put it on anki. Now I am working on the Hanyu Kouyu Sucheng -Pre Intermediate one, i did up to unit 10, but the dialogues are getting longer and boring. In addition, 60% of me think it is a good idea to have a deck like this, 40% of me think is a waste of time, that I should only put words on the deck and studying going with the flow. What do you think? Any volunteer?
