How many individual hanzi in HSK?

So I've been doing anki HSK for a month or so now and I noticed something interesting. I struggle when a hanzi is brand new, but every so often my new words just consist of hanzi I already know paired together. For example, I'll learn 问 and then I'll learn 题. Then later in the week I learn 问题 and I already know the pronunciation making it way easier.

So that got me wondering, how many individual hanzi are there in HSK vs just reusing them in different combinations?
