I have been learning Chinese for a few months now, and I've been trying to approach the process in the most strategic manner possible.
I just today discovered HanziCraft's Productive Component list, which ranks character components based on their frequency in the most common 8943 characters and these characters' placement on that list.
For example, 人 is ranked #1 despite only being present in 942 characters (as opposed to 口 which is present in 1503) because it is part of many of the most frequent characters (你, 他) .
I'm wondering if there is a list that ranks characters (and not components) in a similar fashion, as I feel that would be a great tool for organizing vocabulary priority.
HanziCraft's website states they have such a list "coming soon", but as far as I can see, the website hasn't been updated in quite a while.
TL;DR, is there a list that ranks Chinese characters based on their frequency in the most common characters? Thanks!
