Check-sheet Books for Chinese?

Check-sheet Books for Chinese?

Tons of Japanese textbooks (for Japanese) use this red check-sheet (暗記用シート). This is especially useful for studying Kanji/Hanzi.

I fantasize about a book just like this one but for Chinese vocab example sentences (for me, ideally with 繁體字 and 注音). Honestly, with the different ways in which Taiwanese like to pick up things from Japan, I'm surprised this isn't one of them.

On a related note, beyond elementary school, how do Taiwanese/HK/Mainland students learn rarer Hanzi? Are there special textbooks? Do they just get handouts every week?
