What did I say wrong?

Yesterday in Shanghai I wanted to say "what is the original /ordinary price?" in a shop, and to someone else "we met last year." I said "一般的价格是多少钱？＂and" 我们去年见过了＂but they were totally 听不懂to both of these sentences... What did I say wrong? Thank you
