Peking University Chinese semester program?

Hello, I’m planning on doing a semester or two in China to improve my Mandarin Chinese, and am currently at HSK2 level.

Peking University seems the most appealing to me since I’ve read that they split the reading, writing and speaking classes up so I could be at different levels for each component, since my reading and writing is weaker than my speaking.

Any advice, opinions or reviews about the Chinese Language programme at Peking would be appreciated!

I am also open to studying in other cities in China but can’t seem to find too much info about universities outside of Beijing.

(I have also looked at BLCU and Tsinghua - if these are better, I wouldn’t mind any thoughts on these).
