Going to China on exchange, how do I maximize my learning?

I'm in university, and in five months I'm going to Beijing to study as an exchange student for ten months. What should I do to be as good at chinese as possible in 15 months?

I'm a Swede with no prior knowledge of chinese, and the only languages I know are english and swedish. I've taken evening lessons in mandarin chinese (two hours a week) for two and a half semesters, and I'm about halfway through HSK3. My main method of studying apart from the lessons is using flashcards (Anki) which makes me fairly good at reading and writing texts that only contain the words that I know, but not very good at speaking/listening(especially fast-spoken chinese).

What should I do from now until I go, and what should I do once in China, in order to maximize my learning? Very thankful for any tips and input! :)
