Hello! I posted this originally in r/China and it was recommended by a commenter that I post here.
..
I’m a Caucasian Canadian woman and my long term relationships here have all been with Chinese men. I’ve really enjoyed our relationship dynamics. Marriage/serious relationships seemed to be a thing. Marriage is not so much a thing for most Western relationships.
I’m wondering if it’s a feasible option to go to China as a teacher to a T1 or T2 city and find a husband? I’d be interested in an upper class and educated man. I would be 24 or 25 when I go there. I’m prioritizing marriage as while I can do everything else in my life now or anytime after 30, the chance of a good marriage has a timeline that cuts at 30.
Is this impossible crazy talk or something that’s a logical plan? If it’s a logical plan, how in China does a woman position herself in her daily life to be noticed and approached by men looking for marriage? Thanks.
