Balancing Chinese studies and school work

I’m a high schooler studying Chinese privately (outside of school). School is the highest priority in my life, every day I spend most of the day studying. I’ve been learning Chinese for over a year now and I genuinely love the language, but I’m really dissatisfied with my progress. I know that in order to improve I need to study Chinese every day, but it’s so hard to make time for it with how demanding school is, and honestly whenever I have a free hour or so, the last thing I want to do is sit behind a desk and...study, even if it’s Chinese. I don’t have the time to watch Chinese TV shows either...

So what can I do to improve in Chinese even with my hectic schedule? Also, any tips to find balance in my life between school and hobbies?
