Another 'is my Chinese name retarded' thread

Hello,

So my current Chinese name is a transliteration of my English name, but I dislike it.

I like characters and the meaning of 闯劲 - or 闖勁 for you Taiwan hipsters.

Do you think it works as a name? Or would I be like one of those Chinese kids who insists on being called 'Mr Big Boss'?
