Offering Ch(Mandarin)/Seeking En: intermediate grammar/vocabulary checking buddy

Hi, I am a Chinese native speaker (Mandarin) who currently studying in Canada.

I am hoping to find an English native speaker who can answer my questions fast and clear, I would offer the same service in Chinese in exchange.

As a typical young Chinese, me and my phone have a really close symbiotic relationship, so I can assure you I am able to respond almost instantly when I am awake and are not in any important meeting. I would like you to be able to answer my question same fast (actually not really, I just through that would be nice if we both can arrange the average responding time within 3 hours).

As for the anticipated questions from my side:

I occasionally do amateur En-Ch translation jobs, during which I would encounter phrases that I really need some clarification. Therefore I would ask you something like "Can you please use another phrase to rewrite this sentence [He will become a fine addition to this group] ? I am not 100% clear with the usage of [a fine addtion to] here."

But sadly my English grammar is really bad, so I will probably also ask stupid and naive questions like "on Monday or at Monday?" "should I use the present tence to describe a person's behavior when he is still alive even when the action was already finished?" "What does OP means?"

Additional information:

  • I live in GMT-5 time zone.
  • I am also happy to answer any non-language culture related questions.
  • Let's build some virtual friendships!
  • You can chose WeChat, QQ, Messenger, WhatsApp or E-mail to contact me, I am fine with all of them.
  • If you love video games, familiar with internet culture and have a Steam account, I will make my responding time 20% shorter and offer extra services like write/record sentences and conversation for you.
