This show was just the right level for where I am in terms of chinese language comprehension, but I also really appreciated the "slice of life" feeling of the first 2/3rds of the show, i.e., realistically written characters and scenarios without a ton of contrived plots or melodramatic dialogue. I did think the show kinda went off the rails by the end but at least at that point I was already invested.
Anyway, looking for other similar things. Most Chinese TV I've watched has been way more over the top and unrealistic or else super melodramatic, and another show as low key and charming as 致我们单纯的小美好 would be ideal for me.
