I have been living in Shanghai for two years working full time (not in education) and studying in the mornings before work. I was thinking of taking a sabbatical for a few months to focus purely on Mandarin.
Being single and mobile, I am thinking to get out of Shanghai, instead of doing it here. This is because I have too many laowai friends here and also Shanghai is expensive.
Has anyone got any immersive courses they can recommend? I am looking to take 3-4 months off and just study. And how much does something like this cost? As I assume I won't have income while doing this.
