会 as more than just ability/future tense marker

Stumbled across this sentence: "我的秘书每天都会提醒我第二天的日程。 ". Why is there a 会 there? It's not future, and it's not ability. Is this some sort of habitual aspect?

Potentially related to this is another usage of 会 I've seen where it kinda means "would", used in conditional constructions like "我如果有錢,就買新車" or similar sentences.

Would love any explanation on the different meanings of this word!
