SVO (Subject, Verb, Object) question about asking name

When asking a name, my textbook says 请问, 您叫 (Qingwen, nin jiao) the polite way, but me, the perfectionist set on using SVO format, would thing the subject is the person, so wouldnt it be 您叫,请问, unless anyone has a better acronym for understanding mandarin grammar. Thanks in advanced
