iTalki question - What do I tell the tutor in the first meeting?

I'm supposed to meet my iTalki tutor tomorrow for the first time. The only Chinese I know so far is from Integrated Chinese (Level 1 Part 1). Can I send my tutor the Integrated Chinese (Level 1 Part 2) book PDF file and ask her to pick up instruction from there? Or is it better to just let the tutor teach using the method they are most familiar with? I'd rather have a book to study when I am not interacting with her.
