Hi everyone!
I'm going on a 3 week summer course in China and I'm super excited! I've been hitting the flashcards hard the past year, and I'm hoping going to China will be an amazing opportunity to transfer all that theory and vocab into reality! The programme runs in Beijing, Shanghai and Hangzhou. We get to express a preference (no guarantees), so I was wondering if you all had some helpful thoughts on what I should choose?
I'm currently thinking probably not Shanghai because I've heard its very modern and flashy - as I'm only there for three weeks I would like to really try and get as good a feel of china as possible. Am I correct that Shanghai is only an hour away from Hangzhou? In which case if I chose Hangzhou I could do a weekend trip to Shanghai or something to cover it im guessing.
Anyway thanks a lot in advance!
