Hi, I'm a full stack developer building a tool to help learn Mandarin. I have been studying taking mandarin classes for a while and I realized it would be better if I had something that would help me track the hundreds of words I had already studied to identify which ones I was struggling with, so it would help me review. And also keep track of the pace I was evolving. I'm calling the approach "Metrics Based Learning", because the idea is exactly to help strict metrics based on the amount of content we are learning. Since I also had to study for normal classes and HSK certification at some moment, the tool will reflect that. Keep track of both learning paths. The certification and the normal weekly classes. The system will have content for multiple levels of HSK certification and and also be able to help on content of books you already use.
