Word order confusion surrounding 的

I am partly familiar with the 的 particle however the following sentence from ChineseSkill has confused me:

星期天是一星期的第七天

Why does 一星期 come BEFORE 的 in this instance. I would naturally have written the sentence as

星期天是第七天 的一星期
