I feel my Chinese slipping away.

I have been studying Chinese in school my entire student life. I moved to 苏州 when I was six years old and became enrolled in Chinese courses five days a week. I continued until I reached the 7th grade, when I moved back to the States and spent two years without communicating with any Chinese speakers. 9th grade I moved and was able to continue my studies five days a week at my high school. I graduated and went off to uni where I minored in Chinese Studies and again studied five days a week and took courses.

Now I am 23, graduated uni several months ago and feel like I’m in a rut. I am unenthused speaking Chinese to my old classmates, I do not have any books from school, and I’m at a loss. I have tried flipping through Duolingo every now and then but I think it’s too casual for me. I need to set aside several hours of the week to study and take it seriously.

Does anyone have any tips or suggestions for me? Any books or supplies I should pick up? Any inspiring words to keep it up?

I feel that without being in school, I’m not as inspired.

Help! 帮我!
