My university in China requires I pass the HSK 6 to graduate. I am not even studying Chinese language as my major and my school does not offer Chinese as a foreign language for foreign students (I am a native English speaker from the US), which is EXTREMELY frustrating considering the 6 is a requirement for my Masters.
I passed the 4 after about a semester and a half studying here, and I have 1.5 years left before I have to pass the 6. I am panicking. I have to learn the vast majority of the vocabulary for the 5 and 6 still. Vocab retention/reading are my weakest points.
I know there are tons of resources, but what are ones YOU would recommend? Someone suggested learning vocabulary in a way that groups them by topics and a vocabulary "tree" rather than alphabetically, does anyone have any lists like this? Should I get a tutor? Are there really good online courses you'd recommend? Everyone has always said immersion is the key and I guess for speaking it is but that's not seemingly doing anything for getting me closer to passing this test. God help me.
