Would like to know the history/background behind everyone of the 214 radicals

Hello, I'm trying to learn chinese and would like to know the history behind everyone of these radicals. Online I can only find a mere list of them, but I would like to know why they are shaped in that way. Do you know any site/book that could be useful? Thank you
