I'm starting to learn Chinese and using a lot of online resources, but I learn very organizationally and a textbook would really help give me that structure. I've tried searching for a good textbook, and a lot of the responses here have been fairly "meh, it's alright" kind of suggestions. I was hoping someone could definitively say which textbook series presents material the best or at least help narrow the field.
Thus far, my findings have lead me to:
Huanying An Invitation to Chinese
and a special mention to some PDFs:
Personally, I'm looking for a physical textbook series, but I hoped that including the PDFs might help others who have similar concerns but prefer a digital option.
So which series out there do people recommend?
