How to Learn Mandarin and Can You be Fluent in 6 Months? (Steve Kaufmann)

Here's a post and video made by /u/lingosteve aka Steve Kaufmann on his tips on how to learn Mandarin and if you can be fluent within 6 months.

For those that don't know Steve's a polyglot and he learned Mandarin during his time in China in the 60s/70s.

Even though I'm studying Japanese myself, i've been using his tips and it's helped a lot.
