Mandarin for a 4 year old

My son has been making up his own language for months so I think he's ready for a "real" language. Mandarin lessons around us are once a week. I'm wondering if an app, workbook or videos would be better so he can do as much or as little as he wants a given week. At this age he sometimes just doesn't feel like doing something when you want him to ;) Wondering what materials people found good for younger kids.

Thanks!
