Changing my Chinese name (Part 2)

[Here](https://www.reddit.com/r/ChineseLanguage/comments/990qh6/changing_my_chinese_name) is the original post.

TLDR: I'm Taiwanese/German and want to change the name on my Taiwanese passport. Last name is 潘.

So, I have been considering all the comments I got and I think I'd like a name that's not neccessarily related to my German name, something that stands on its own. That puts me in front of the new dilemma of having thousands of character options, while not being sure of connotations these names might have for a native Chinese speaker. I made a list of characters I like (regarding sound and meaning) and had my mum and a native friend look over them, this is the feedback.

惺 Xing1 - association with 假惺惺劲

Jing4 - too masculine

萌 Meng2 - my mum's absolute favourite, my friend finds it too cutesie. This one sounds similar to my German name Mona

力 Li4 - too masculine

意 Yi4 - okay

偼 Jie2 - nope

熒 Ying2 - too strange

朠 Ying1 - too old-fashioned. My friend didn't recognise this at all

朗 Lang3 - my mum likes it, my friend doesn't

燁 Ye4 - already in the family

倞 Jing4 - too strange

如 Ru2 - okay

銳 Rui4 - bad meaning

榮 Rong2 - very

土嵐 Lan2 - mum dislikes the meaning, friend likes it a lot

理 Li3 - okay. a bit too masculine

敏 Min3 - nope

明 Ming2 - already in the family

翔 Xiang2 - okay

祥 Xiang2 - okay

晶 Jing1 - okay, friend found it a bit too girly

曉 Xiao3 - good. I worry it might make a name sound too much like a nickname.

蕾 Lei3 - okay

惔 Yan3 - too strange

螢 Ying2 - mamahuhu, depends on what you pair it with

霞 Xia2 - okay. might be too 土 depending on the pairing

All in all, my name choices seem to be quite boyish.

Now, this leaves me with 12 characters that are at least okay, 萌, 意, 朗, 如, 嵐, 理, 翔, 祥, 晶, 曉, 蕾, 螢 and 霞.

I especially like 意. 潘意如 seems nice, but doesn't really lend itself to doubling nicknames (意意? 如如? weird). I've also thought about 潘意嵐 (too rhymey?), 潘意晶, 潘意萌 and 潘意霞.

My questions:

What do you think about the suggested 意 combinations?

Do you have any other suggestions for combinations?

Do you have any character suggestions?

Do you have any other comments?

For reference: I am a girl born in 2001. Meanings I like are mostly along the lines of intelligent, strong, competent, bright, colourful, cheerful, light, and dawn. I'd like to avoid ch, sh, zh sounds, as well as homophones to yí, lín and líng,
