I had understood 不如 to usually be used to mean "inferior to" or "would be better to be"
E.g. 不如死了 - would be better to be dead A不如B - B is better than A
But going through the memrise grammar courses there are two examples where the order at least appears to be the other way around
1。你不是电脑高手吗?怎么连我也不如 2. 你真是老糊涂,连小孩子都不如
In both these cases the object before 不如 appears to be the "better" one (even I am better than you, even a child is better than you). Can 不如 generally be used this way or is this a specific structure related to the use of 连
