I've found those two sentences in my Chinese course book:
他们高兴地说 他们高兴得跳啊,唱啊
Why is the de in the second sentence different? Why does adding the 啊 make such a difference? I've also tried typing this sentence in the computer with pinyin and it types the second sentence as '他们高兴地跳' as long as I don't add the 啊 but as soon as I type it, it changes the 地 to 得. Why is that?
I hope I've expressed myself understandably, please ask if you didn't get my question!
