Dear Reddit,
I come to you with 2 questions:
- Question 1
I live in Shanghai since 4 years. I have a HSK level 3 Chinese. I work full time in a company. I would like to follow some English-taught evening class in a University.
I am wondering if there are any universities allowing me to follow some evening class about Chinese economy, Chinese international relations or Chinese international politics, I have the required university background to follow master level classes.
Considering my level of Chinese, the class would need to be in English.
I checked on the website of Fudan, Jiaotong, Tongji but I could not find anything related to evening class.
The only thing I could find was evening Chinese class in Jiatong and full time English taught programs in Fudan and Tongji.
As today, I couldn’t find a combination of both English-taught class and evening class.
Does this exist ?
- Question 2
In case my quest for English-taught + evening class cannot be fruitful, I would like to get the advise from the community regarding what is the best option for evening Chinese class ?
I have a colleague who follows the Jiatong University evening Chinese class and she seems happy with it.
Are there any other options ? Better classes ? Better institution ?
Obviously the goal would be to go over the HSK 3 level "trap" and make progress (not necessarily prepare the HSK 4 but make substantial language progress).
In advance thanks for your advice.
