您好我想帮 is college is china expensive for foreigners?

I’m a sophomore in an American high school and I’m scared of being in thousands of dollars in student loan debt and want to go to college in China to immerse myself in The Chinese Language and culture.I can’t get a scholarship in athletics because I feeI like it’s to late to join sports as a sophomore there any way I can get free scholarship? also I have a 3.4 average and my family is middle class so I can’t get a scholarship from being in poverty. My extracurricular is an equality alliance club for race and lgbtqa+ that I can put on my resume but don’t know if I should because it might keep me from getting into college. any other ways? 谢谢 再见
